To be secure in life is to feel safe. To be secure as a Christian is to be safe in the knowledge that God loves us, and died for us, and promises us the gift of eternal life. In John 16:3 we read “for God so loved the world that he gave his only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but will have eternal life.”
WHAT A PROMISE THIS SCRIPTURE IS - The gift of eternal life and a relationship with God.
This scripture promises us that we can be secure in the knowledge that God loves us so much, He gave us his Son. Secure in the knowledge that if we believe in Him, we will have eternal life.

What is Christian Security?
The belief that when we give our lives to Christ and become a Christian, God will meet all our needs. Psalm 23:1 the Lord is my Shepherd and everything I need. As we trust in God, we become secure in the knowledge that God loves us and we are safe in his loving Hands. In Proverbs 3:23 we read that the Lord is our security. In Isaiah 41:10 we read “Fear not for I am with you. Do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and I will help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
There is part of song that goes “I am safe and secure in the rock of all ages and his banner over me is love” , AMEN.
Prayer: Father we are so blessed as Christians, to be secure in the knowledge that if we believe in You, we have the free gift of eternal life. We praise You for this free gift and ask that we can share this knowledge with others.
