The Oxford Dictionary defines integrity as being honest. A person of integrity is one who has strong moral and ethical principles and acts with honesty, honour, and truthfulness.
A Christian with integrity is one who speaks the truth, is honest and does not lie and is sincere, a person you can rely on. Their principles are based on God’s and Word, one who knows how to treat others, and shows God’s love in action. In Job 27:5 we read “I have the moral courage to make my actions consistent with the knowledge of right and wrong”.
Micah 6:8 declares “What does the lord require of you, to act justly, and to love mercy and to walk humbly with our God. This is what God requires of us”.
We are called as Christians to act with integrity. To show God’s constant love, to show mercy, to live in humble fellowship with our Lord and act with honesty towards others. To be people of integrity, authentic, honest, and true. In Psalm 25:21 we read “may integrity and uprightness protect me”. A Christian of integrity is a living witness to others, honours God’sWord and lives in a manner that is consistent with Biblical principles, one who respects others, is truthful and just.
Prayer:
Lord we pray that as Christians we can always act with integrity and honesty. We pray that You will guide us and lead us, to show mercy and act justly.
